Trying to figure out what kind of deck your opponent has before you even sit down is like a game unto itself. It's especially pronounced in the case of our little group, where you know for certain that Mat will always be playing white, and you know a couple certain cards he uses with a lot of success... so you try to counter those, and he tries to counter your counter, etc. It's very nerdy, but very fun.
