MC Frontalot

Went to see this “nerdcore” rapper MC Frontalot tonight. It was a good time, I was really impressed that he had a live band and not just a DJ.
The openers were fun, too. Some local guys called The Awkwards and some dude named Schaefer the Dark Lord, whose mother apparently tours with him - which was a little weird. I wouldn’t want my mom there when I did a song comprised almost entirely of F-bombs.

STD grew up in Iowa. His mother drove in to see him perform. Honestly, I think the song about fucking your own clones would be a worse one to perform in front of your mom.
I also thought this show was a good time.

Ah, I guess that’s something anybody who does any type of performance might run into. You have some risque material and you’re not going to leave it out just ‘cuz your fam is in attendance. For that matter, I wouldn’t want my folks listening to about 50% of what happens on the Splattercast
